#HighFivesAthlete Update, Soren Lindholm!

Getting to meet the High Fives team was something I wanted to do ever since Roy and Steve came and talked to me at Craig. It was a pleasure to work with Jack, Kyle and the High Fives crew, they have been a tremendous help throughout my recovery.

Soren Lindholm #HighFivesAthlete

At the Free Heel Life Cup finals (a telemark skiing big mountain competition) Soren chose a difficult yet ski-able line, featuring a double cliff air near the bottom. Soren’s run was going great until it came to the double cliff. He went off the first cliff a little too fast and a little backseat. He missed the landing, which was the takeoff to the second cliff and bounced on his butt off the rocks and slid down.

Soren suffered a burst fracture at his L1 vertebra and had corrective surgery where they fused his T11 and T12 vertebrae. Soren is currently paralyzed from the waist down.

For the past two weeks, Soren has been in Truckee, California for some training with head trainer Jack Powell. Soren also received acupuncture treatments from Vitality Primary Care.
