Kyle Briggs | LAc
Coming out of a heavy athletic background (European basketball for 3 seasons, owning a personal training business for 8+ years), Kyle’s natural draw to medicine came out of these health & fitness roots. After succeeding in his first year of Western medical school, he quickly found that his roots did not align well with the heavy science approach of these Western principles (Allopathic pharmaceuticals coupled with an absence of nutrition and holistic viewpoints began pushing Kyle in a different direction). After testing Eastern theories on his own injuries and medical issues, and finally realizing the strength and applicability of these modalities, he soon found himself transferring from this traditional medical program into an Eastern medical school in San Diego.
Today, Kyle runs a general medical practice here at the Healing Center. He continues to follow his original interests, and work largely in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, while more recently expanding towards more of the Psycho-emotional realms of healing (largely through the practice of modern Neuro-acupuncture techniques). Although he sub-specializes in these two areas, Kyle is excited to help treat nearly any case that comes into the Clinic. He fights to bring people’s misled patterns and development of illness back to their true nature.
